Danbury.rb (http://danburyrb.org) is a social group for people interested in the Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework living in and around Danbury CT, Fairfield County, and surrounding areas in Connecticut and New York. Our group consists of a variety of professionals and hobbyists who enjoy coming together to share knowledge and learn from one another. Our intention is to bring together everyone in the area for a variety of group discussions, hack nights, and social events.

Ruby group focused on teaching people that want to be programmers by doing. Pair programming is leveraged to expose members to various styles, methods and approaches to the same problem. A basic understanding of programming concepts is expected.
